Most of the sales in East Ham over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £322,501. Flats had an average sold price of £203,618 and semi-detached properties averaged at £341,200.
East Ham, with an overall average price of £291,096 was more expensive than nearby East Beckton (£268,821), but was cheaper than Upton Park (£312,472) and Little Ilford (£315,691).
In the past year house prices in East Ham were 17% up on the year before and 32% up on 2008 when they averaged at £219,950.
