Most of the sales in Ecclesall over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £228,027. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £330,909 and detached properties averaged at £489,559.
Ecclesall, with an overall average price of £307,186, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Crosspool (£296,533), but was more expensive than Woodseats (£155,179) and cheaper than Fulwood (£407,534).
In the past year house prices in Ecclesall were 12% up on the year before and 20% up on 2011 when they averaged at £255,872.
