Last year most property sales in Eston involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £101,032. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £72,383, while detached properties fetched £154,860.
Eston, with an overall average price of £101,815 was cheaper than nearby Normanby (£138,839), Ormesby (£140,492) and Marton-In-Cleveland (£197,585).
During the last year, sold prices in Eston were similar to the previous year and 8% down on 2007 when the average house price was £110,101.
