The majority of sales in Exmoor during the last year were detached properties, selling for an average price of £312,022. Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £226,443, with terraced properties fetching £189,617.
Exmoor, with an overall average price of £230,994 was more expensive than nearby Minehead (£198,138), but was cheaper than Porlock (£273,699) and Dulverton (£292,182).
Overall sold prices in Exmoor over the last year were similar to the previous year and 13% down on the 2008 level of £266,694.
