Fairburn, with an overall average price of £219,417 was more expensive than nearby Leeds (£183,216), Castleford (£128,764) and Knottingley (£109,893).
During the last year, sold prices in Fairburn were 9% down on the previous year and 6% down on 2012 when the average house price was £233,900.
There were only 12 properties sold in the last year, therefore, the average prices may only reflect the mix of properties sold, rather than changes in the local market itself.
