Most of the sales in Galleywood over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £274,190. Detached properties had an average sold price of £625,324 and semi-detached properties averaged at £368,236.
Galleywood, with an overall average price of £404,743 was more expensive than nearby Great Baddow (£310,178) and Old Moulsham (£323,079), but was cheaper than West Hanningfield (£532,499).
In the past year house prices in Galleywood were 13% up on the year before and 28% up on 2009 when they averaged at £316,907.
