The majority of sales in Garstang during the last year were semi-detached properties, selling for an average price of £186,448. Detached properties sold for an average of £300,940, with flats fetching £128,077.
Garstang, with an overall average price of £210,296, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Pilling (£205,746), but was more expensive than Great Eccleston (£194,273) and cheaper than Scorton (£276,929).
Overall sold prices in Garstang over the last year were 5% up on the previous year and 9% down on the 2007 level of £230,233.
