The majority of sales in Gloucestershire during the last year were terraced properties, selling for an average price of £204,509. Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £230,519, with detached properties fetching £367,816.
Gloucestershire, with an overall average price of £252,548, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Bristol (County) (£246,312), Wiltshire (£242,708) and Somerset (£248,020). The most expensive area within Gloucestershire was Chipping Campden (£537,924) and the cheapest was Ruardean (£138,643).
Overall sold prices in Gloucestershire over the last year were 6% up on the previous year and 10% up on the 2010 level of £230,399.
