Most of the sales in Grappenhall over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £292,842. Detached properties had an average sold price of £473,591 and flats averaged at £114,632.

Grappenhall, with an overall average price of £321,647, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Appleton (£332,547), but was more expensive than Thelwall (£252,483) and Latchford (£137,950).

In the past year house prices in Grappenhall were 15% up on the year before and 24% up on 2011 when they averaged at £259,869.
