Last year most property sales in Great Easton involved flats which sold for on average £318,744. Detached properties sold for an average price of £566,000, while semi-detached properties fetched £307,500.
Great Easton, with an overall average price of £395,997, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Great Dunmow (£403,206) and Gt Dunmow (£403,206), but was more expensive than Dunmow (£361,121).
During the last year, sold prices in Great Easton were 4% up on the previous year and 26% down on 2010 when the average house price was £533,167.
There were only 16 properties sold in the last year, therefore, the average prices may only reflect the mix of properties sold, rather than changes in the local market itself.
