Most of the sales in Great Sankey over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £250,012. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £141,924 and terraced properties averaged at £145,185.
Great Sankey, with an overall average price of £174,931 was more expensive than nearby Penketh (£165,035), Callands (£158,226) and Burtonwood (£120,417).
In the past year house prices in Great Sankey were similar to the year before and 6% down on 2008 when they averaged at £186,385.
