Last year most property sales in Harlow involved terraced properties which sold for on average £225,757. Flats sold for an average price of £143,806, while detached properties fetched £419,656.
Harlow, with an overall average price of £242,382 was more expensive than nearby Harlow New Town (£204,686), but was cheaper than Church Langley (£292,843) and Old Harlow (£337,150).
During the last year, sold prices in Harlow were 11% up on the previous year and 24% up on 2011 when the average house price was £195,855.
