Most of the sales in Heaton over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £130,628. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £96,143 and detached properties averaged at £209,540.
Heaton, with an overall average price of £124,694 was more expensive than nearby Bradford (£109,113), but was cheaper than Bingley (£185,464) and Shipley (£140,844).
In the past year house prices in Heaton were similar to the year before and 13% down on 2007 when they averaged at £143,484.
