Most of the sales in Heaton over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £97,180. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £129,253 and detached properties averaged at £229,850.
Heaton, with an overall average price of £126,031 was more expensive than nearby Bradford (£114,656), but was cheaper than Bingley (£167,412) and Shipley (£143,247).
In the past year house prices in Heaton were 6% up on the year before and 12% down on 2007 when they averaged at £143,484.
