Most of the sales in Heaton over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £96,584. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £128,363 and detached properties averaged at £214,225.
Heaton, with an overall average price of £124,340 was more expensive than nearby Bradford (£109,010), but was cheaper than Bingley (£181,172) and Shipley (£141,298).
In the past year house prices in Heaton were similar to the year before and 13% down on 2007 when they averaged at £143,484.
