Most of the sales in Heaton over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £128,277. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £97,607 and detached properties averaged at £276,167.
Heaton, with an overall average price of £131,100 was more expensive than nearby Bradford (£119,618), but was cheaper than Bingley (£158,454) and Shipley (£148,465).
In the past year house prices in Heaton were 7% up on the year before and 10% down on 2007 when they averaged at £145,557.
