The majority of sales in Helmsley during the last year were detached properties, selling for an average price of £364,995. Terraced properties sold for an average of £297,625, with semi-detached properties fetching £270,300.
Helmsley, with an overall average price of £304,016, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Osmotherley (£298,313) and Easingwold (£291,782), but was more expensive than Kirkbymoorside (£215,626).
Overall sold prices in Helmsley over the last year were 12% up on the previous year and 5% up on the 2010 level of £288,444.
