The majority of sales in Hessle during the last year were semi-detached properties, selling for an average price of £170,486. Terraced properties sold for an average of £117,816, with detached properties fetching £316,238.
Hessle, with an overall average price of £165,573 was more expensive than nearby Anlaby (£149,852), but was cheaper than Kirk Ella (£246,174) and Swanland (£356,717).
Overall sold prices in Hessle over the last year were similar to the previous year and 4% up on the 2008 level of £158,990.
