Most of the sales in Horbury over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £166,635. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £116,848 and detached properties averaged at £271,882.
Horbury, with an overall average price of £178,660, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Middlestown (£181,592) and Wakefield (£180,531), but was more expensive than Ossett (£157,179).
In the past year house prices in Horbury were 16% down on the year before and 9% down on 2014 when they averaged at £195,887.
