Most of the sales in Huddersfield over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £119,736. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £159,604 and detached properties averaged at £285,789.
Huddersfield, with an overall average price of £166,709 was cheaper than nearby Netherton (£198,995), Almondbury (£187,831) and Lindley (£214,282).
In the past year house prices in Huddersfield were 3% up on the year before and 10% up on 2015 when they averaged at £151,733.
