Last year most property sales in Lathom involved detached properties which sold for on average £306,143. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £204,356, while terraced properties fetched £156,854.
Lathom, with an overall average price of £229,322, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Ormskirk (£219,370), but was more expensive than Burscough (£187,200) and cheaper than Parbold (£272,735).
During the last year, sold prices in Lathom were 10% up on the previous year and 4% up on 2008 when the average house price was £220,569.
