Last year most property sales in Leytonstone involved flats which sold for on average £292,412. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £498,560, while semi-detached properties fetched £560,388.
Leytonstone, with an overall average price of £402,750, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Leyton (£384,774), but was more expensive than Temple Mills (£380,703) and Leyton Marshes (£348,995).
During the last year, sold prices in Leytonstone were 13% up on the previous year and 44% up on 2013 when the average house price was £280,386.
