Last year most property sales in Leytonstone involved terraced properties which sold for on average £421,001. Flats sold for an average price of £263,665, while semi-detached properties fetched £565,000.
Leytonstone, with an overall average price of £357,266 was more expensive than nearby Leyton (£328,926), Temple Mills (£311,199) and Leyton Marshes (£303,679).
During the last year, sold prices in Leytonstone were 21% up on the previous year and 35% up on 2012 when the average house price was £265,295.
