Last year most property sales in Liverpool City Centre involved flats which sold for on average £134,953. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £269,500, while semi-detached properties fetched £175,395.
Liverpool City Centre, with an overall average price of £140,291 was more expensive than nearby Kensington (£101,726), Toxteth (£98,623) and Birkenhead (£111,791).
During the last year, sold prices in Liverpool City Centre were similar to the previous year and 20% down on 2008 when the average house price was £175,423.
