Most of the sales in Low Spennymoor over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £175,063. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £93,288 and semi-detached properties averaged at £99,836.

Low Spennymoor, with an overall average price of £124,166 was more expensive than nearby Ferryhill (£76,248), but was cheaper than Brancepeth (£238,926) and Kirk Merrington (£191,393).

In the past year house prices in Low Spennymoor were similar to the year before and 3% up on 2012 when they averaged at £120,113.
