Most of the sales in Low Spennymoor over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £79,824. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £102,020 and detached properties averaged at £188,164.
Low Spennymoor, with an overall average price of £115,681 was more expensive than nearby Ferryhill (£74,956), but was cheaper than Brancepeth (£345,008) and Kirk Merrington (£185,875).
In the past year house prices in Low Spennymoor were 7% down on the year before and 6% down on 2013 when they averaged at £123,626.
