Lower Elkstone, with an overall average price of £248,000 was more expensive than nearby Buxton (£198,541), Buxton Spa (£206,984) and Staffordshire Moorlands (£179,074).
In the past year house prices in Lower Elkstone were 19% down on the year before and 20% down on 2005 when they averaged at £310,024.
