The majority of sales in Malvern during the last year were detached properties, selling for an average price of £312,969. Flats sold for an average of £180,001, with semi-detached properties fetching £203,673.
Malvern, with an overall average price of £229,988, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Upton-Upon-Severn (£233,206), but was more expensive than Worcester (£197,714) and cheaper than Kempsey (£262,014).
Overall sold prices in Malvern over the last year were 3% up on the previous year and similar to the 2007 level of £234,038.
