The majority of sales in Malvern during the last year were detached properties, selling for an average price of £331,861. Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £205,276, with flats fetching £174,802.
Malvern, with an overall average price of £235,969, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Upton-Upon-Severn (£230,069), but was more expensive than Worcester (£198,672) and cheaper than Kempsey (£250,485).
Overall sold prices in Malvern over the last year were 6% up on the previous year and similar to the 2007 level of £234,039.
