Most of the sales in Mirfield over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £158,362. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £122,418 and detached properties averaged at £296,359.
Mirfield, with an overall average price of £182,098, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Roberttown (£180,136), but was more expensive than Liversedge (£159,576) and cheaper than Kirkheaton (£193,347).
In the past year house prices in Mirfield were 3% down on the year before and 3% down on 2010 when they averaged at £187,527.
