Last year most property sales in Neath involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £121,182. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £87,900, while detached properties fetched £195,031.
Neath, with an overall average price of £131,053 was more expensive than nearby Neath Abbey (£114,709) and Briton Ferry (£88,746), but was cheaper than Waunceirch (£159,579).
