Most of the sales in New Oscott over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £215,033. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £148,125 and detached properties averaged at £274,988.
New Oscott, with an overall average price of £204,660 was more expensive than nearby Birmingham (£160,753) and Great Barr (£148,078), but was cheaper than Sutton Coldfield (£274,455).
In the past year house prices in New Oscott were 10% up on the year before and 15% up on 2007 when they averaged at £177,892.
