Most of the sales in New Oscott over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £202,238. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £148,228 and detached properties averaged at £270,867.
New Oscott, with an overall average price of £195,611 was more expensive than nearby Birmingham (£158,603) and Great Barr (£143,604), but was cheaper than Sutton Coldfield (£265,655).
In the past year house prices in New Oscott were 6% up on the year before and 10% up on 2007 when they averaged at £177,892.
