Most of the sales in New Oscott over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £210,951. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £145,067 and detached properties averaged at £276,322.
New Oscott, with an overall average price of £201,656 was more expensive than nearby Birmingham (£162,369) and Great Barr (£149,087), but was cheaper than Sutton Coldfield (£279,308).
In the past year house prices in New Oscott were 7% up on the year before and 13% up on 2007 when they averaged at £177,892.
