Last year most property sales in Nottinghamshire involved detached properties which sold for on average £229,561. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £133,019, while terraced properties fetched £107,004.
Nottinghamshire, with an overall average price of £157,571, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Derbyshire (£165,416) and Lincolnshire (£156,972), but was cheaper than Leicestershire (£189,223). The priciest area within Nottinghamshire was Bradmore (£484,167) and the least expensive was Creswell (£82,742).
During the last year, sold prices in Nottinghamshire were 4% up on the previous year and 4% up on 2007 when the average house price was £151,690.
