Last year most property sales in Nottinghamshire involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £136,850. Detached properties sold for an average price of £236,591, while terraced properties fetched £107,982.
Nottinghamshire, with an overall average price of £161,380, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Lincolnshire (£161,579), but was cheaper than Derbyshire (£169,619) and Leicestershire (£193,914). The priciest area within Nottinghamshire was Woodborough (£446,591) and the least expensive was Sneinton (£85,917).
During the last year, sold prices in Nottinghamshire were 4% up on the previous year and 6% up on 2007 when the average house price was £151,712.
