Most of the sales in Ormesby over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £124,544. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £89,192 and detached properties averaged at £166,482.
Ormesby, with an overall average price of £121,284 was cheaper than nearby Normanby (£142,224), Marton (£169,927) and Marton-In-Cleveland (£170,279).
In the past year house prices in Ormesby were 6% up on the year before and 9% down on 2007 when they averaged at £133,518.
