Most of the sales in Ormesby over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £122,707. Detached properties had an average sold price of £223,868 and terraced properties averaged at £82,333.
Ormesby, with an overall average price of £140,549, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Normanby (£141,605), but was cheaper than Marton-In-Cleveland (£198,819) and Marton (£202,533).
In the past year house prices in Ormesby were 5% up on the year before and 6% up on 2007 when they averaged at £132,947.
