Last year most property sales in Oundle involved detached properties which sold for on average £359,347. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £249,557, while terraced properties fetched £213,821.
Oundle, with an overall average price of £285,701 was more expensive than nearby Thrapston (£215,805), but was cheaper than Titchmarsh (£342,000) and Brigstock (£320,768).
During the last year, sold prices in Oundle were 6% down on the previous year and 8% up on 2008 when the average house price was £264,244.
