Most of the sales in Oxford over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £431,976. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £532,269 and flats averaged at £302,218.
Oxford, with an overall average price of £473,854 was more expensive than nearby Marston (£425,683) and Cowley (£355,130), but was cheaper than Jericho (£1,026,086).
In the past year house prices in Oxford were 7% up on the year before and 24% up on 2013 when they averaged at £382,057.
