Last year most property sales in Penn involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £162,391. Detached properties sold for an average price of £251,075, while flats fetched £152,810.
Penn, with an overall average price of £190,466, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Wall Heath (£197,102), but was more expensive than Perton (£170,989) and cheaper than Wombourne (£206,727).
During the last year, sold prices in Penn were 9% up on the previous year and similar to 2007 when the average house price was £192,211.
