Most of the sales in Purley over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £825,628. Flats had an average sold price of £292,410 and semi-detached properties averaged at £534,689.
Purley, with an overall average price of £563,845 was more expensive than nearby Woodcote Grove (£481,413) and Coulsdon North (£394,250), but was cheaper than Woodcote Green (£888,210).
In the past year house prices in Purley were 18% up on the year before and 22% up on 2015 when they averaged at £464,046.
