Most of the sales in Queensbury over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £87,528. Detached properties had an average sold price of £246,473 and semi-detached properties averaged at £130,906.
Queensbury, with an overall average price of £153,645 was more expensive than nearby Clayton (£123,007) and Thornton (£134,326), but was cheaper than Shelf (£174,733).
In the past year house prices in Queensbury were 6% up on the year before and 10% up on 2010 when they averaged at £139,400.
