Last year most property sales in Rawmarsh involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £105,630. Detached properties sold for an average price of £203,165, while terraced properties fetched £96,329.
Rawmarsh, with an overall average price of £132,341, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Swinton (£129,389), but was cheaper than Wath-Upon-Dearne (£143,473) and Rotherham (£139,451).
During the last year, sold prices in Rawmarsh were 11% up on the previous year and 10% up on 2014 when the average house price was £120,511.
