The majority of sales in Rettendon Common during the last year were detached properties, selling for an average price of £398,249. Flats sold for an average of £112,000, with terraced properties fetching £191,000.
Rettendon Common, with an overall average price of £293,999, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby East Hanningfield (£306,235), but was cheaper than Battlesbridge (£441,000) and Woodham Ferrers (£398,999).
Overall sold prices in Rettendon Common over the last year were 7% up on the previous year and 41% down on the 2011 level of £500,000.
