Most of the sales in Rossendale over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £96,510. Detached properties had an average sold price of £254,026 and semi-detached properties averaged at £143,545.
Rossendale, with an overall average price of £145,968, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Rossendale Valley (£145,345), but was more expensive than Haslingden (£134,318) and cheaper than Rawtenstall (£172,131).
In the past year house prices in Rossendale were 4% up on the year before and 8% up on 2014 when they averaged at £135,677.
