Last year most property sales in Seaburn involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £170,308. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £157,513, while detached properties fetched £430,571.
Seaburn, with an overall average price of £189,998 was more expensive than nearby Fulwell (£145,654) and Roker (£147,054), but was cheaper than Whitburn Village (£241,015).
During the last year, sold prices in Seaburn were 3% up on the previous year and 26% down on 2008 when the average house price was £255,882.
