Last year most property sales in Seaburn involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £170,102. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £141,579, while flats fetched £165,667.
Seaburn, with an overall average price of £170,705 was more expensive than nearby Fulwell (£149,894) and Roker (£146,741), but was cheaper than Whitburn Village (£230,885).
During the last year, sold prices in Seaburn were 8% down on the previous year and 32% down on 2008 when the average house price was £251,667.
