Last year most property sales in Seaburn involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £168,333. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £158,557, while detached properties fetched £431,643.
Seaburn, with an overall average price of £194,514 was more expensive than nearby Fulwell (£144,687) and Roker (£137,939), but was cheaper than Cleadon Village (£243,495).
During the last year, sold prices in Seaburn were 16% up on the previous year and 23% down on 2008 when the average house price was £251,667.
