Last year most property sales in Seaford involved detached properties which sold for on average £365,834. Flats sold for an average price of £172,734, while semi-detached properties fetched £267,870.
Seaford, with an overall average price of £281,843 was more expensive than nearby Newhaven (£213,343), but was cheaper than Alfriston (£532,333) and East Dean (£421,800).
During the last year, sold prices in Seaford were 7% up on the previous year and 15% up on 2007 when the average house price was £245,430.
