Last year most property sales in Seaford involved detached properties which sold for on average £372,499. Flats sold for an average price of £169,150, while semi-detached properties fetched £270,799.
Seaford, with an overall average price of £289,444 was more expensive than nearby Newhaven (£219,630), but was cheaper than Alfriston (£497,409) and East Dean (£422,462).
During the last year, sold prices in Seaford were 7% up on the previous year and 18% up on 2013 when the average house price was £246,221.
