Shirwell, with an overall average price of £293,607, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Beer Charter (£295,565), but was more expensive than Whiddon Valley (£225,336) and cheaper than Muddiford (£369,917).
Overall sold prices in Shirwell over the last year were similar to the previous year and 34% down on the 2010 level of £445,000.
There were only a small number of properties sold in the last 2 years, therefore, the average prices may only reflect the mix of properties sold, rather than changes in the local market itself.
