Last year most property sales in Shortlands involved flats which sold for on average £272,773. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £414,826, while semi-detached properties fetched £523,368.
Shortlands, with an overall average price of £400,647, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Bromley (£396,065), but was more expensive than Burnt Ash (£374,942) and cheaper than Park Langley (£894,585).
During the last year, sold prices in Shortlands were 6% up on the previous year and 22% up on 2012 when the average house price was £328,928.
