Last year most property sales in Shortlands involved flats which sold for on average £274,203. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £420,272, while semi-detached properties fetched £549,838.
Shortlands, with an overall average price of £409,452, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Bromley (£399,146), but was more expensive than Burnt Ash (£367,852) and cheaper than Park Langley (£869,369).
During the last year, sold prices in Shortlands were 12% up on the previous year and 24% up on 2012 when the average house price was £328,928.
