Most of the sales in South Brent over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £345,126. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £224,833 and terraced properties averaged at £211,869.
South Brent, with an overall average price of £276,947 was more expensive than nearby Buckfastleigh (£231,488), Ivybridge (£230,177) and Modbury (£262,634).
In the past year house prices in South Brent were 13% up on the year before and similar to 2009 when they averaged at £275,585.
