Most of the sales in Sparkhill over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £135,104. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £177,017 and flats averaged at £105,494.
Sparkhill, with an overall average price of £143,690 was more expensive than nearby Tyseley (£134,979) and Small Heath (£123,216), but was cheaper than Moseley (£273,381).
In the past year house prices in Sparkhill were 6% up on the year before and similar to 2007 when they averaged at £142,966.
