Most of the sales in Sparkhill over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £127,752. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £182,731 and flats averaged at £99,833.
Sparkhill, with an overall average price of £140,825 was more expensive than nearby Tyseley (£123,460) and Small Heath (£113,433), but was cheaper than Moseley (£235,446).
In the past year house prices in Sparkhill were 12% up on the year before and similar to 2007 when they averaged at £143,023.
