Last year most property sales in Spennymoor involved terraced properties which sold for on average £76,491. Detached properties sold for an average price of £188,710, while semi-detached properties fetched £99,172.
Spennymoor, with an overall average price of £118,627 was more expensive than nearby Ferryhill (£74,956) and Bishop Auckland (£101,414), but was cheaper than Coxhoe (£133,263).
During the last year, sold prices in Spennymoor were 9% down on the previous year and 9% down on 2013 when the average house price was £130,212.
