Last year most property sales in Spennymoor involved terraced properties which sold for on average £85,638. Detached properties sold for an average price of £179,070, while semi-detached properties fetched £103,990.
Spennymoor, with an overall average price of £119,705 was more expensive than nearby Ferryhill (£69,706) and Bishop Auckland (£99,891), but was cheaper than Coxhoe (£130,927).
