Spital Tongues, with an overall average price of £149,531 was cheaper than nearby Newcastle Upon Tyne (£197,275), Gosforth (£265,975) and Jesmond (£293,126).
During the last year, sold prices in Spital Tongues were 11% down on the previous year and 22% down on 2009 when the average house price was £191,642.
