Most of the sales in Surrey over the past year were flats which on average sold for £295,247. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £440,202 and semi-detached properties averaged at £473,628.
Surrey, with an overall average price of £449,342 was more expensive than nearby West Sussex (£310,916), Berkshire (£347,549) and East Sussex (£291,748). The most expensive area within Surrey was Wentworth (£1,647,497) and the cheapest was Stanwell (£258,298).
In the past year house prices in Surrey were 5% up on the year before and 18% up on 2012 when they averaged at £381,983.
