The majority of sales in Syston during the last year were semi-detached properties, selling for an average price of £174,683. Terraced properties sold for an average of £144,365, with detached properties fetching £257,582.
Syston, with an overall average price of £179,871 was more expensive than nearby Thurmaston (£153,609), but was cheaper than Queniborough (£246,074) and Cossington (£314,000).
Overall sold prices in Syston over the last year were similar to the previous year and 4% up on the 2010 level of £173,445.
