Last year most property sales in Thorpe Bay involved detached properties which sold for on average £639,497. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £521,100, while flats fetched £268,250.
Thorpe Bay, with an overall average price of £532,872 was more expensive than nearby Southchurch (£248,263), Shoeburyness (£310,520) and Southend-On-Sea (£294,614).
During the last year, sold prices in Thorpe Bay were 15% up on the previous year and 36% up on 2015 when the average house price was £390,518.
