Last year most property sales in Thorpe Bay involved detached properties which sold for on average £575,565. Flats sold for an average price of £235,912, while semi-detached properties fetched £461,625.
Thorpe Bay, with an overall average price of £461,311 was more expensive than nearby Southchurch (£227,242), Shoeburyness (£282,935) and Southend-On-Sea (£259,985).
During the last year, sold prices in Thorpe Bay were 3% up on the previous year and 30% up on 2014 when the average house price was £354,027.
