Trealaw, with an overall average price of £71,493 was more expensive than nearby Tylorstown (£55,747), but was cheaper than Tonypandy (£75,413) and Porth (£81,521).
During the last year, sold prices in Trealaw were 28% up on the previous year and 8% down on 2007 when the average house price was £77,968.
