Most of the sales in Wainscott over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £285,390. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £250,333 and detached properties averaged at £439,375.
Wainscott, with an overall average price of £288,753, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Cliffe Woods (£297,773), but was more expensive than Rochester (£256,251) and cheaper than Upnor (£344,616).
In the past year house prices in Wainscott were 13% up on the year before and 25% up on 2014 when they averaged at £230,220.
